A new mother from New Zealand was going to the grocery store when her baby fell asleep in the car. She got to the destination - the parking lot of the store, did not want to wake the baby, and decided to go shopping alone.
Mother wrote a note and left it on top of a pink blanket with which the child was covered and calmly went to the store. The note said: "My mom is shopping, call her if I need anything."
The baby attracted the attention of one pair of people who did not go to buy, remaining to look after the child. It happened at 9:00 am on a hot Saturday morning, and they were worried about how the child would take the heat in the car.
They called the mother and demanded her return to the child, and they did not budge until she came.
In the meantime, the couple took a picture of the baby with a note and their post became viral, causing discontent of many people. Many demanded punishment for a careless mother.
According to the laws of the country, parents or guardians, who leave children under the age of 14, can be charged and a fine of up to $ 2,000 dollars, but the police can not take action in this case, because no one provided either the name, the phone number, or the description of the car.
Pediatricians are concerned about this case and warned: “The baby may quickly become dehydrated, and it becomes very nervous. In addition, there is a risk of getting into trouble - a small child cannot protect himself, if necessary, or seek help. ”
